Duluth Revisit Med City in Immediate Rematch

Duluth FC vs. Med City
Rochester Regional Sports Center | Rochester, MN
June 19th, 2021 | Game #7

Current 2021 Records (W-L-T):
Duluth: 3-0-0; 1-2-0 at home/on the road
Med City: 3-0-0; 2-2-0 at home/on the road

Duluth will travel to Rochester, Minnesota on the 19th to face Med City just three days after
beating the club 2-1 at Duluth’s Public Schools Stadium through goals from James Westfield and
Gabriel Campora.

The match will provide a major opportunity for the BlueGreens to retake control of their season
after an up and down start, as a second win over Med City would put the two clubs even on
points, tied for second place in the NPSL North. With the NPSL’s current playoff system handing
spots to the top two clubs from the conference, a result on Saturday could prove a real decider
for both Duluth FC and Med City. A win would also give Duluth it’s third straight win after
trading between wins and losses for their first four matches.

Gabriel Campora’s debut goal for the BlueGreens on Wednesday gave Duluth its eighth goal
scorer of the season, with a combined count of sixteen goals from six matches. While Duluth’s
current half way mark of goals is a bit behind the mark from the previous season, when a total of
38 were scored in the regular season, Sidney Warden has managed to already tie the two top
goalscorers from 2019 with plenty of others joining the race.

James Westfield, meanwhile, marked his tenth all time goal for Duluth on Wednesday, making
him the club’s third top all time scorer, one goal behind Joe Watt and nine behind Kyle Farrar.
Both forwards have hit the ground running this season and can be expected to continue their
explosive run this weekend.

Kick off is currently set for 6:45 pm. Duluth will then take a week break before playing Joy
Athletic on the road on June 26th.
