About Carlyle

Joining Duluth FC with hopes of bringing his creative talents to the BlueGreens’ midfield. Carlyle is an attacking midfielder who’s spent most of his time playing as a 10 who makes accurate passes and uses ball control to dominate the midfield.

Carlyle experience with several clubs in Brazil, where he was born, including Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, a world-famous powerhouse of Brazil, and Centro de Futebol Zico (CFZ). Carlyle’s involvement with CFZ was as a professional and his time with Flamengo was a combination of youth and senior appearances.

His time in various levels of the Brazilian game have helped Carlyle learn from the best when it comes to the final third and has even skirmished with the legendary Ronaldinho.

Carlyle is excited to continue his journey in football and hopes his time with Duluth will help him establish himself as a player in the United States. “I really have a special fondness for the United States and I have a dream to demonstrate my soccer to this country. I believe Duluth is one of the most beautiful cities in the nation and it’ll be a great joy to play for Duluth FC, a team that has a great potential to grow! I’m really excited to be a part of this team this season!”
