Duluth Travels to Fargo Looking to Lock Up Playoff Spot

Duluth FC vs. Dakota Fusion FC

Jim Gotta Stadium | Moorhead, MN

June 29th, 2022 | Game #11 Current 2022: Records (W-L-T):

Duluth: 5-0-0; 4-1-0 at home/on the road

Med City: 2-1-1; 1-3-2 at home/on the road

The Bluegreens are on the road again this Wednesday for the third game straight and this time will be going against a struggling Dakota FC. Another rematch of the season and it should be a fun one as the Fusion put up a pretty solid battle against us last time at home. Despite their recent struggles against other conference rivals the Fusion always keep it close and have lost all but one of their games by one or two goals. It is supposed to be a beautiful day in Moorehead for some NPSL soccer, being around 80 degrees and sunny and will get cooler as the match continues.

The Bluegreens our coming off their fifth straight win since their only loss of the season to Minneapolis City. The last match was a major one as they handed Med City Mayhem their first loss of the season in fashion. The score was gridlocked until the last 5 minutes of the game, and they were still able to pull off the much-needed win. This just proves again how far our team has come together both and the chemistry with each other and their own very skills. Everyone this late in the season seems to be contributing to team wins and that’s the biggest thing you want to see come postseason.

The Fusion who at this point have no shot at the top two spots will be playing for pride tonight and that can be dangerous. Sometimes the teams who have played tough all season and have nothing to lose, are teams that you should be worried about. Also, despite their rocky season they just pulled off a 6-2 win against LC Aris FC, who may be the last team in the standings,  still an impressive game nonetheless. Duluth, however still has eyes on first place as Med City does not have a game this week and we have the chance to claim the crown.

Kick-off is expected at 7:00 pm, June 29th. The stream for the match will be available on This Link.
