Duluth Look to Maintain Momentum Against Med City

Duluth FC vs. Med City
Public Schools Stadium | Duluth, MN
June 16th, 2021 | Game #6

Current 2021 Records (W-L-T):
Duluth: 2-0-0; 1-2-0 at home/on the road
Med City: 3-0-0; 2-1-0 at home/on the road

Duluth FC will look to follow up their convincing 4-0 win over Dakota Fusion on the 12th with a third
home win for 2021 as they welcome Med City to Duluth on June 16th for the two clubs’ first match up of
the year. Med City are currently second in the NPSL North and will present Duluth FC with a major
challenge as they look to mount a run to the top two spots of the table.

While Duluth has historically finished above Med City and often done well in matches against them, 2019
did mark a shift in the BlueGreens’ fortune, with Med City winning and drawing their two matches
against Duluth and finishing above them in second place, earning their first-ever NPSL playoff spot.

Every year, however, comes with surprises in the NPSL North and the Duluth faithful should expect an
entertaining match up midweek, one which could prove vital in keeping Duluth’s playoff hopes alive and
well. The week will prove even more vital as Duluth will play Med City again, this time as the away
team, on June 19th.

While Duluth still has work to do in regards to climbing up the table, many players have shown well for
the club, with seven scoring for Duluth and two different goalkeepers earning clean sheets with the
assistance of a range of defenders, including Liam Condone, who was named Man of the Match following
the win over the Dakota Fusion.

Kick off is set for 7 pm this Wednesday, the 16th, at Public Schools Stadium. We hope to see all the
wonderful faces who’ve come to our first two home games continue to support us and enjoy the beautiful
game in the beautiful city!
