Minnesota: 1-1-0; 0-0-0 at home/on the road

The BlueGreens are back at it again this Wednesday and looking to extend their win streak to three going up against an energetic Minnesota squad that had just defeated La Crosse Aris FC 4-2. After defeating the crows of Minneapolis, the boys are back playing at home again as a part of a three-game home that will end next Saturday with a matchup against LC Aris FC. The TwinStars key to success against La Crosse was attacker Mark Boquin, leading his squad by landing two goals in the back of the net. Along with some solid defensive plays to close out the 2nd half. They did however fall to Minneapolis in week 1, a team the Bluegreen’s seemed to have control of the entire match. It will be interesting to see if they are able to handle Duluth’s attacking prowess on the offensive end. Going into this game the BlueGreens still currently holds the top spot in the NSPL North standings with 6 points and is the only team to have won both of their first two games. Leading the way for goals this season are Blake Perry and Felipe Oliveira with 2 apiece, along with goals from 4 more BlueGreens, making them a true force to fear. Kick-off is expected at 7:30 pm this Wednesday, May 18th.
