Duluth Travel to South Dakota in Search of 2nd Straight Away Win

Duluth FC vs. Sioux Falls Thunder
McEneaney Field | Sioux Falls, SD
June 5th, 2021 | Game #4

Current 2021 Records (W-L-T):
Duluth: 1-0-0; 1-1-0 at home/on the road
Sioux Falls: 0-1-0; 1-2-0 at home/on the road

Duluth FC will follow up its 3-2 loss to Minneapolis City and 3-0 win over La Crosse Aris with
an away game at Sioux Falls, the last away fixture before playing two home games. The match
provides the BlueGreens with a chance at their second away win of the season, a key factor for
any side looking to finish in the top two spots of the NPSL North conference.

Sioux Falls will have played four matches by the time Duluth arrives, including a 3-0 loss to
Minneapolis, a 4-3 loss to Med City, a 4-1 win over the Dakota Fusion, and a 3-0 loss against Joy
Athletic. Duluth beat the Thunder twice last season, including a 1-0 away win and a 2-0 home
win.

A win would give Duluth FC nine points from four matches, leaving just a step behind Med City
and Minneapolis at the top of the conference table. It should be noted that Med City and
Minneapolis City play one another the same night as Duluth’s match, with the result of that
match also impacting Duluth’s fortune on the table.

The match will provide a chance for additional BlueGreens to get on the score sheet. As things
stand Gloire Luwara, James Westfield, and Dylan Sumner have each scored one goal for the
club, while Sidney Warden has scored six.

Kick off is expected at 7pm. Further information regarding streaming and match attendance can
be found on Sioux Falls’ social media and website. We will do our best to relay this information
as it comes out.
