Committed to keeping the ball out of the net, Ryan Tyrer brings fresh blood into Duluth’s center back options. Born and raised in Liverpool, England, he lets the front half take care of bagging goals while he keeps things calm in the back. He values his composure and communication skills as much as any skills on the ball.
His dad was the person who really sent him on the path of football. He took Ryan out to train and made sure he never slacked off. Ryan’s Great-Grandfather also had his own affect on his status as a player. He played for Fleetwood Town, currently in League One, and Preston North End, currently in the Championship. Ryan can’t help but feel that some of his abilities as a player were passed done from his talented heritage.
Ryan’s first match was a FA Cup match between Liverpool and Leeds United at Liverpool’s home ground of Anfield. The match marked the moment when Ryan realized just how much he loved the game.
