- Parker Bjorlin
- United States
Raised in Hermantown, Minnesota, Parker Bjorlin brings a Northland flair as a multitalented outside back. He enjoys his place as left back, which gives him chances to contribute to both defense and offense. Bjorlin’s been playing since the U8’s, spending most of that time as a midfielder. He does, however, admit that the early years came with some expected hiccups. “I kept picking up the ball with my hands.”
Parker credits his parents as great motivators, but also gives thanks to his club coach Dave Robinson and High School coach Dave Thompson, both of which developed his skills as a player and helped his positional abilities expand. It wasn’t until he came under the wing of Robinson that Parker was introduced to the left back position he now calls home.
Bjorlin didn’t watch much professional soccer growing up, but has since then become a fan of Manchester United and Minnesota United, attending a few of the latter’s games going back to their time in the NASL.
