Bearing the captain’s armband, Kyle Farrar represents one of Duluth FC’s deadliest threats when on the attack. The London native was Duluth’s lead goalscorer in their first year in the NPSL with 13 goals in 14 regular season games and 1 playoff goal, but he’s keen on achieving more for the club.
The center forward has been playing his whole life, “In England, the first sport you play is football. You play at school and when you get home from school.” Farrar’s first memory as a player goes back to the Charlton Athletic camp he’d go to every year during the holidays. Being a supporter of Arsenal Football Club, Kyle’s first memories of watching the beautiful game in-person were seeing the classic Yellow and Blue JVC Arsenal kits.
Farrar has always been driven by his parents, who played a major role in his youth development and in introducing him to Arsenal. Farrar’s idols have included the likes of David Beckham and Zinedine Zidane, as well as legendary Arsenal forwards like Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp.
