- Jan Hoffelner
My name is Jan Hoffelner. I am a goalkeeper from Germany. I am 20 years old. During the summer I am playing soccer for Duluth FC (NPSL).
I played my entire youth for one of the best youth academies in Germany, called Eintracht Frankfurt. After my youth, I had the decision to play semi-professional (4th division) or to play soccer in the U.S. I moved one year ago to the U.S. My goal is to pursue a professional soccer career and advance my academic career as well. I played the Fall season 2017 for Iowa Western Community College. I went 7-2 as a starter and logged 804 minutes for Iowa Western Reivers as a freshman. I made 26 saves and had a goal against average of 0.67 and save percentage of 0.831 and I had 5 shutouts. I am transferring this spring to Presbyterian College, which is a Division 1 College. On my background besides the huge passion for goalkeeping, I also have some volunteer and paid coaching experience in Germany and in the United States as well.
During my freshman year at Iowa Western Community College, I was honored as Man of the Match against Creighton University.
