BlueGreens Aim To Make It Five Wins In A Row

Duluth FC vs. Minnesota TwinStars FC
Public Schools Stadium | Duluth, MN
6.27.18 | Game #11

Current 2018 Records (W-L-D):
Duluth: 3-1-1; 3-0-3 at home/on the road
TwinStars: 2-3-1; 2-1-2 at home/on the road

With ten goals scored and zero conceded in their last four matches, three at home and one on the road, Duluth now look to take advantage of tough results for the other clubs at the top of the conference by grabbing another three against the Minnesota TwinStars.

Duluth’s last match against the TwinStars, which was the first match of the regular season for both, ended in a 3-3 draw which saw both clubs show moments of strength and weakness. Kyle Farrar, Ivan Adika, and Dana Kowachek found the back of the net for the BlueGreens in said match.

The TwinStars have had a mixed bag results recently, earning a gritty 2-2 draw with conferences leaders Minneapolis City, but then falling short in a 4-3 loss to the Dakota Fusion. Duluth will hope to pounce on the mixed performances floating around the Minnetonka side and earn their fifth straight win and quite possibly their 5th straight clean sheet, having earned five this season in total.

Duluth’s match against the TwinStars will be their second to last home game, with their July 6th match against Med City FC being their last. They will also travel to Minneapolis to play Minneapolis City on June 30th.
